Originally from Northern Ireland, Fionnuala has played Cello for 30 years with various Orchestras and ensembles, most recently the Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra. Fionnuala works for her local Music Service and manages her own website design company - Mustard Seed Media
Raised in Derbyshire, Emily has been playing the violin since the age of 10. She has played with a wide range of ensembles around Derbyshire, Yorkshire and the Manchester area, going on to lead the Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra for four years. Emily works as the Head of Junior Music at a local independent school and is a keen hiker, completing the 214 Wainwright summits in the Lake District National Park last August.
Ruth is an experienced music education facilitator. She currently works in several schools as a string teacher, runs children's choirs and delivers singing courses to promote well-being. In her spare time she loves to play her violin in Huddersfield Philharmonic and ballroom dance - although not at the same time!
Natalie was born in London, grew up in Sussex, and moved to Sheffield to study music in 2002. She has since built a career as both teacher and performer in South Yorkshire, playing with quartets and orchestras in diverse genres from Bach to Gilbert and Sullivan, as well as performing contemporary compositions in collaboration with Platform 4. Natalie especially enjoys chamber music.
